Our Sunday Worship

10am every Sunday Morning

Ancient setting, relaxed style

Our services are relaxed and thoughtful. We do not demand easy answers or rigid conformity; instead, we invite questioning minds to ponder faith together through music, prayer, and shared silence. There is a place for all ages - we welcome children and try to provide a program for them.

Afterward, we gather for coffee and conversation. Whether you are a lifelong seeker or simply looking for a quiet space to reflect, you are entirely welcome here.

Campfire Church

5pm, third Sunday of the month

Families gather around a firepit at the Parish church to hear a bible story, sing a song, make a craft, eat sausages and toast marshmallows! no church experience or background needed - just come along and see for yourself!

Under development...

Thoughtful faith for open minds

Our hope is to develop a new worshipping community that complements, rather than replaces, our shared Sunday worship. Our Sunday services will continue to offer a familiar rhythm of Christian worship, gathering people around Scripture, prayer, praise and the sacraments in the beautiful setting of our ancient parish church. For many people, this is a recognisable and cherished expression of worship that connects us with generations of Christians who have prayed in that place.

Alongside this, the refurbished URC building, with its café and community space, offers a very different environment. It provides an opportunity to create a more conversational, participative and practice-shaped community, where people gather around tables and a simple meal, explore questions together, and learn habits of discipleship that can be lived out throughout the week. Together, these two expressions of church can enrich one another, each offering gifts that the other cannot.
